Currently on my second read of this insanely inspiring design book, Jungalow, Decorate Wild by @justinablakeney. How she explains melding styles - like Moroccan with Californian or West African with a coastal vibe- really speaks to me, a person who lives in a new place every few years. The best part about living abroad is being inspired by new things (and then using them in my design, cooking, and life!) If you like design and art, you MUST order this book. This is not just the strawberry margarita speaking.
I break for sunshine when it’s 70 degree low-humidity perfection. Happy to be home. Happy the mosquitos have yet to arrive in full force.
I’m in Colorado for a few days visiting my bestie, trying to get enough oxygen (this altitude is legit), and taking in a total change of scenery. @ljones202
Flowers, bunnies, eggs. That’s an Easter table right there. Happy Easter everyone!
It’s just starting to be Spring in Michigan. Also: I got some very good news on the health front (and I blogged about it on TheNextDinnerParty.com).
